Please maintain your lawn as outlined in the Bylaws and Rules & Regulations

Lawns & Lots

  • Yards and lots are to be maintained so they abide by Items # 4 & 5 of the Bylaws Schedule A – Rules and Regulations. Following these guidelines will help insure a harmonious community:
  • Grass must be mowed a minimum of two times a month for the months May through October and once a month in April and November. A number of variables impact how often maintenance needs to occur. Following these minimum cutting requirements will limit overgrowth of lawns.
  • Underbrush (shrubs, saplings, low vines, etc., growing under larger trees) and debris are to be cleared to prevent unsightly or unkempt conditions
  • No refuse piles or unsightly objects are allowed to be placed or kept on lots
  • Neighboring property owners MUST NOT place debris on undeveloped lots.
  • As a courtesy, the office can supply a list of lawn contractors who do lot clearing can be found on the website or by calling the office at 910-707-0843 if needed.

Trash cans

  • According to our covenants, (Art. V, Sect. 10), Trash cans should be kept in a screened area or storage bin and not visible from the street except on garbage and recyclable pick-up days.
  • Shrubs or other vegetation is an acceptable method of screening. Town ordinances require you put out your trash cans no earlier than the evening before pick-up, and return the cans to storage the day of pick-up.

If you see anyone violating any of the rules, please speak to them.  These facilities belong to all of us and we all have a say in the maintenance, appearance, and operation of our community.

And remember it is required by law to pick up after your dog.  Thank you for your cooperation!
